Note: to the extent that you have an account on the site, please ensure that the resume associated with your account is up-to-date to make sure that an employer views or receives your most recent resume. You can add / edit / delete your resume/CV and your profile data by going to the respective Profile or Resume section(s) in your account
The services may also store and post date related information directly to the timeline of your profile, resume, applications, messages, connections, communication and/or your account
Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our site
Other users of the services may also be able to view your profile, resume/CV information
With prospective employers and recruiters (and/or with their external Applicant Tracking System or similar external system used by such companies to manage responses to their job postings or direct applications through their third party websites or contact information
From time to time, we may run contests, special offers, or other events or activities (“Events”) on our Services together with a third party partner. If you provide information to such third parties, you give them permission to use it for the purpose of that Event and any other use that you approve. We cannot control third parties’ use of your information. If you do not want your information to be collected by or shared with a third party, you can choose not to participate in these Events
For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information or with your consent
B. Technical Information. We may share Technical Information (such as usage data and demographics, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third parties to help them understand the usage patterns for certain services or to drive product engagement with other Users of the Services.
4) HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect any Personal Information we process about you. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions and credit or debit card data will be encrypted.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, on any website. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, you acknowledge that:
a. there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet which are beyond our control;

We collect, process and store information when you send, receive, or engage with messages in connection with our Site and/or Services. This includes the Contact Us support message system, and this includes message systems that are included in some services. Information such as the number of messages youve sent and received, when you have viewed a message, details of who youve messaged with and when and which messages were responded to (“Message Data”). Message Content and Data will also be sent to and shared with who you have sent a message to.
We also store your messages (“Message Content”) to generally permit you to access and view your message history and any responses; however, we cannot guarantee access to all messages at all times, and messages may be removed or deleted, including in connection with changes in or interruptions of service with our vendors, changes to our Services or features, or Company, or our vendors data retention processes or storage limitations. We may view Message Content to investigate or resolve technical or trust and safety issues or to improve our Services. We will never share Message Content with third parties except as required by law or with your consent.
We also may use automatic scanning technology on messages to allow us to recognize patterns on our messaging platform. These patterns may help us make your professional communications more efficient and informed and contribute to a safer and more secure job search experience. For example, our software may do the following:
a. Look for text that indicates a web link (e.g. ends with “.com” or similar) to generate a clickable link
b. Provide auto-complete options when it anticipates who the receiver of the message may be
c. Check links shared in messages for malicious sites and looks for blacklisted keywords to detect spam and fraud.

C. Passive Information. As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site.
E. Tracking across Third Party Websites. Some third party websites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. If you are visiting such sites, certain website browsers allow you to set the DNT signal on your browser so that third parties (particularly advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked. The Services does not respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals on your browser. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
F. Mobile Analytics. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile Software on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from.
G. Push Notifications. We may send you push notifications from time-to-time in order to update you about any events or promotions that we may be running. If you no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level. To ensure you receive proper notifications, we will need to collect certain information about your device such as operating system and user identification information.

If you wish to invite a friend to view our blog posts, we will ask you for that person’s email address and automatically send an email invitation. We store this information to send this email, to register your friend if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our invitation service. Your friend may contact us to request that we remove this information from our database at email@example.com.

The STEMdoors.com website is owned by H1 Base, Incorporated, a registered Florida Corporation, located at 111 2nd Avenue NE, Suite 360, St Petersburg, Florida 33701, U.S.A. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, H1 Base Incorporated is the official “data controller” in respect of personal information that we obtain in connection with the STEMdoors.com website. We host and store your Personal Information on third party secure servers situated in the United States and Europe.
16) AS A DATA PROCESSOR
The use of information collected through our site and services shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the Client has engaged.
We acknowledge that you have the right to access your personal information. With respect to Personal Information provided by a client of ours (e.g., where we send job alert emails to job seekers on behalf of that client, or send resume submissions to employers on behalf of a client), we collect such information under the direction of that client and have no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Information we process. If you are a customer and would no longer like to be contacted by such client, please contact the client directly. If you seek access or want to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, you must direct your request to that H1 Base client (the data controller). If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by our service agreements with our Clients.
We will retain Personal Information that we process on behalf of our clients for as long as needed to provide services to our client. We will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and in accordance with our internal record keeping policies.
17. EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS WITH RESPECT TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA

E. Some Limitations
Such rights of rectification, objection, restriction, access, portability and deletion are subject to certain limitations, as provided for by applicable laws. Individual requests will be completed within the time allotted by relevant regulations, which starts to run from the point of confirming your request.
